The Science Behind the PureAir Treatment
The PureAir Treatment™ utilizes the same technology many hospital operating rooms use for complete room sterilization**. The PureAir Treatment™ is a process performed with specialized machines that temporarily convert the molecules in the air. These molecules are unstable and immediately attach themselves to odors including smoke to breakdown and destroy them on a molecular level. The PureAir Treatment™ kills microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and mold* leaving the area being treated including all surface areas and the air disinfected; smelling fresh and clean. 2. Zooming in closer, the PureAir Treatment (PAT) converted molecules (shown in blue) come into contact with the cell wall (the cell wall is vital to the survival of the bacteria).
3. As PAT molecules make contact with the cell wall, a reaction called oxidation occurs. This creates holes in the cell wall.
4. A newly created hole in the cell wall has injured the bacterium.
5. Zooming out, the bacterium begins to lose its shape while PAT molecules continue creating holes in the cell wall.
6. Within a few seconds and thousands of PAT molecule collisions, the bacterial wall can no longer maintain its shape and the cell dies.
